Catfish King is renowned for its signature dish—catfish. But this isn’t just any catfish. The catfish here is expertly seasoned and fried to a golden crisp, served with a side of hushpuppies, coleslaw, and fries that perfectly complement the fish’s rich, tender flavor. From my personal experience, the catfish here is always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, flaky and juicy on the inside, just the way it should be.

Good food, amazingly low price and clean. The reason it's not five stars is the employees. Some of them are great, some of them are not very friendly. The girl at the front counter acted as if we were an inconvenience to her and needed to hurry and leave her alone. Even got a " sup " from her instead of hello or welcome. Love the establishment, but need to work on employees
I visited this place for the first time today (went to the drive through during lunch time). The girl who took my order was polite and quick. I pulled up to the window, paid, waited for about 3 - 4mins and food was ready. My order was correct, food was hot and delicious. The only con is that the catfish "fillets" are very small. I will say although they are small the flavor was very good, crispy on the outside, good temperature on the inside and no fishy smell what so ever. Coleslaw was nice and refreshing, beans had good flavor, fries were crispy on the outside and soft of the inside and the hush puppies were delicious. What completely blew me away were the hand battered onion rings!! OMG!! They are the best onion rings in Paris TX!!! Crispy and flavorful on the outside, the onions were sweet and juicy!!! This will be my go to spot for onion rings!!! I will be back soon. If you haven't been, go try them out and don't skip out on the onion rings.
My belly is happy and so full. It's tradition that we stop here when headed through Paris. It's the only catfish I really like other than when my FIL prepares it. The fried chicken is juicy and delicious as well. My favorite place for coleslaw. Beans, good. Bread, good. Portions, huge. LM and I always share and have enough for a second meal. If you find yourself in Paris, stop by. You will thank me later!
So probably the only thing irritating about this restaurant is the dining room is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday the rest of the week it's drive-through only now would think for a fish restaurant that would be a mistake but they are fast and the food is very fresh oysters were on time. The shrimp was delicious and the catfish was bomb, the sides were delicious. I love the coleslaw it's not too sweet, not too bland not sure where the beans come in to play. I think that's a Texas thing, but the hush puppies were to die for I would eat here again and again, even though I try not to eat a lot of fried foods are all in all I would highly suggest this for her to go seafood dinner or even a Friday night or Saturday night dine in
The fish was very fresh and good. Fries were very crisp and the beans were good overall it was a good meal good place to go good prices friendly staff.
